About Jean Monnet Modules:

 

Jean Monnet Modules are short teaching programmes (or courses) in the field of European integration studies at higher education institutions. Each Module has a minimum duration of 40 teaching hours. Modules may concentrate on one particular discipline in European integration studies or be multidisciplinary in approach and therefore call upon the services of several teachers.

Description of the Module:

 

The core aim of the Module is to analyse and present EU international trade strategy and policy in its historic retrospective together with its 21st century concepts and specifics. 

 

The specific objectives of the Module are:

a) development of up to date knowledge on the trade statistics, concepts and instruments of the EU trade policy with their impacts on business and national development opportunities,

 

b) creating permanent interest and ability of the students for continuous practical implementation and consideration of the EU trade policy environment in their future employment environment,

 

c) providing skills and information for students to be able to creatively follow, operationally understand, and practically utilize all information available on the concepts and instruments developed by the EU trade stagey and policy implementation framework,

 

d) creating effective interaction between national business interests and national strategy objectives within the participating processes of creating the EU trade strategy and policy changes in Croatia as future new EU member state. 

About This Module:

 

Teaching module "EU Trade Policy in the Globalized World" is implemented with the financial support of the LLP programme of the European Union. This site contains lecture materials, seminars, and activities connected with the Module.
